First Impressions: The Catcher in the Rye

My first impressions of The Catcher in the Rye were that it would be an easy read, and I will feel accomplished after reading it. I'm very interested in the main character in that I want to know more about his personality and how he will grow in the book. The book is written just as though the narrator is talking right to you, and speaking out loud. I'm excited to see what Holden will do or tell me about.
