Wow so in these chapters, Holden did a lot. It's weird because he did so much in such a little amount of time.
I liked it. I really enjoyed the book. I've talked to other classmates about it and most of them we're thoroughly annoyed with Holdens behavior, but I just got him. I don't really know how to explain it. It was very easy to understand.
I love how in depth Holden would go with everything, just because he'd sort of remember as he was telling us and then go into more detail.
Personally, I saw a lot of similarities between this book and "Perks of Being a Wallflower." (the book not really the movie) Like how both main characters are depressed and going through a lot, mentally. How they both have older brothers and a sister they really get along with. How they have one teacher that's a really good mentor. And how they always talk about other schools they used to go to. Oh yeah, I just remembered, how they both saw/were close to someone killing themselves.
I really wish he would have called Jane.
I really hope he got his life together in the end. I want him to listen to what Mr. Antolini said to him and take it to heart.
